Star Maker on 3v

This is one of my most recent pieces. After working with strict guidelines throughout the reality series Star Maker, we were given a lot of freedom with the music video that would end the season. I, along with my collaborator and co-editor Michael Felker, were encouraged to be experimental and bold with our choices.

The end result was a surreal dream turned nightmare and a blast to cut together. I truly believe this exemplifies some of my finest work when given the most freedom.

I am very proud of my work on this video with hip hop star Roscoe Dash, but it is yet to be released. Until then check out this selected portion.

This video was a parody of Blaxplotaion films form the 70's and was a ball to work on. We got to play a lot with matting and transitions.

Stay tuned for when the full video is released.

IMO- Ep. 46 Stranded on a  Desert Island

I had the oppurtunity to work with Youtube giant AwesomnessTV and help launch their flagship show IMO. The multicam setup made for fast assembly and the ability to produce episode after episiode quickly.

We even created whole episodes out of what was left on the cutting room floor from other episodes.

**Update** Dreamworks recently bought AwesomnessTV for 33mil. Read More...

This is a scene for a kids television pilot I cut. The show is based around the popular children's book The Adventures of Taxi Dog.

All of the sets were constructed digitally and composited into the background in real time. It was a technical challenge, but the end result is something wonderful.

Look for Maxi in schools soon!

Here are a few scenes from the horror feature I cut. It was an amazing exercise in pace and tone. I used a series of flash frames throughout the film to build tension and uneasiness.

The finished product suffered some of the pitfalls of low budget horror films, but I am still very proud of my contribution to this award winning film.
